Warm Fall Portrait Quiet Waters Park Wedding Annapolis Maryland

Jerry and Jenny win as the most unique wedding referral from 2017 - the dentist! In the spring of 2017, I went to the dentist for my routine cleaning (like an adult, even though it’s NOT my favorite pastime), and chatted with the oral hygienist about work and life. As an aside - has anyone else experienced a conversation while in the dentist chair which is mostly one sided except for the gurgling “mmhmmm” “uhuhh” responses? This happens to me everytime!

A few weeks after, I received an inquiry from Jerry and Jennifer regarding their wedding plans. When I spoke to them over the phone and asked how they heard about me, Jerry shared that we go to the same dentist and around the same time I had visited, our mutual oral hygienist found out that the couple had set a date and referred me to Jerry!

Jerry and Jenny have been together for 20 years. They decided it was time to make it official in October and preferred to have an intimate ceremony at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis, MD before heading to downtown Annapolis for a casual reception with close family and friends. Jerry and Jenny both LOVE the fall, so the park was the perfect setting, although we did have to do some searching for the brightly colored trees.

It was chilly, but bright as everyone gathered under the gazebo. The Ring Security (aka the cutest ring bearer) marched determinedly ahead of Jennifer as her father walked her over the bridge towards Jerry. Jerry tried his best to act smooth as he wiped a few tears away when he saw Jenny for the first time, but it was so clear to everyone that the emotions would not be hidden. Even during their vows, Jerry kept bouncing with excitement and they both could not keep smiling. I especially loved the detail on Jerry’s wedding band.
