Jane and Seth | Rolling Roads Golf Club Wedding | Baltimore Wedding Photographer

I can’t believe it is already February! This year is already flying by and I am so excited to share my first wedding of 2019 with you which was the perfect winter wedding here in Maryland.

Jane and Seth held their Baltimore wedding on February 2nd at Rolling Roads Golf Club in Catonsville, MD. Temperatures had dipped down to record lows just a few days before but thankfully were raised a little bit just in time on the morning of their wedding day! During their engagement session, Jane and I bonded over our love of trees and they humored my obsession with getting birds in their photos. They brought along their handsome pup to the engagement session and it was perfect!!

"I'm so excited that you are here because that means I am that much closer to putting on my wedding dress"! That's what Jane said shortly I arrived to her hotel room where she was getting ready and I knew it was going to be such a great day! We got a surprise dusting of snow the day before and both Jane and I shared the excitement that the potential for snowy portraits was in our future! You might think, "wasn't the bride freeing!?" but she was actually on cloud 9 being outside in the chilly air.

We opted to do the first look inside the beautiful lobby of Rolling Roads country club where the sunlight created the perfect warm glow as Jane and Seth saw each other for the first time. The happy tears and excitement were so moving. I loved that Jane and Seth embraced being themselves and enjoying every moment, even down to the Lord of the Rings jokes shared throughout their day (yes, we DEFINITELY nerded out together over Tolkien quotes and their honeymoon plans to New Zealand!!!).

One of my favorite moments happened during the ceremony when one of Jane’s brothers, who was officiating, started tearing up saying “I kept it together as long as I could!”. Jane gave him a hug, wiped his tears away, and also wiped a few more stray tears from Seth’s face as well. These are the memories that are so fleeting, so beautiful and so important which make my love my job as a Baltimore Wedding Photographer even more! Through it all, Jane and Seth couldn't stop smiling and laughing together. Even the moments where a stray tear fell it was always accompanied quickly by the biggest grins and best laughs which were so infectious. Congratulations Jane and Seth and I can’t wait to hear all about your epic adventures when you get back home!
