Intimate spring wedding in Maryland - Maryland Wedding Photographer

I’m so excited to share this intimate backyard wedding with you from a few weeks ago! As some of you may know, I have a special love for learning about different cultures and find it especially beautiful when true love spans language and cultural “divides”. My parents taught me the richness of cultural diversity and the importance of celebrating this diversity! It's especially exciting for me when my love for being a Maryland wedding photographer and my love for cultures combine.

Diego and Anne-Sophie’s wedding was such a wonderful example of this as Anne-Sophie is French + Bolivian while Diego is from Brazil. The wedding was planned in 3 weeks time and was held at Anne-Sophie’s family home in Chevy Chase on May 12th. In spite of not feeling or sleeping well the night before, Anne-Sophie was so lovely in her dress from Bloomingdale's which added to her classic french beauty. Thankfully, the rain held off during the ceremony as the couple exchanged personal vows in the lovely backyard while surrounded by close family and friends, including Diego’s parents who flew in from Brazil and Anne-Sophie’s brother Pierre who traveled from Vietnam for the wedding. Marjorie Osorno D'Ambrosio from Memorable Moments did an excellent job officiating the ceremony, which had portions spoken in French, Brazilian-Portuguese, English and Spanish; including verses read by both fathers in French and Portuguese. It was an intimate and warm gathering to celebrate the start of this lovely couple’s lives together.
