Intimate Annapolis Wedding | Tiffany + Kristie | Annapolis Wedding Photographer
June 21st was the first day of the summer solstice and also the day that Tiffany and Kristie chose to celebrate their love for each other by getting married! When Tiffany proposed to Kristie, it was the beginning of the winter solstice, so the changing of the seasons means a lot to them and made the wedding date that much more special. Their wedding was held at a relative’s beautiful home just outside of Annapolis in Edgewater Maryland. Originally, the couple planned to get married in a courthouse ceremony but their families helped make their intimate wedding possible by helping in various ways, from the arch and decor to food, florals, and hair/makeup. In memory of Kristie’s mother, the couple set up a table with a potted tree that had been significant to her, and clippings of the plant were given to guests as wedding favors. Kristie’s also held a photo of her mother in her bouquet as another sentimental touch
As Tiffany and Kristie’s exchanged their marriage vows overlooking the water, they also made vows to each-other's children as the ceremony blended their families together. After the ceremony surrounded by their closest family members and friends, Tiffany and Kristie toasted with their children to their new family before the couple went out towards the pier for photos. Let me tell you, the sunset was one of the most beautiful that I have seen this year and showed up to celebrate this lovely couple! As the sun set, the Tiffany and Kristie danced their first dance together as a married couple and were also toasted by their family with a very special toast by Kristie’s Grandmother and matriarch of the family. There were a few tears and many smiles for the happy couple. Congratulations Tiffany and Kristie!
