Historic London Town and Gardens Wedding | Rebekah + Ryan | Annapolis Wedding Photographer

Holy Moly, where do I start with Rebekah and Ryan’s wedding?! I met Bekah and Ryan separately while serving at Mosaic Christian Church which is actually where they began their relationship as well! Ryan asked Rebekah to go out with him on a first date and while she agreed, they both didn’t realize until too late that their first date would be on Valentine’s day. Talk about pressure! It obviously went REALLY well as that first date led them to many more and even more to come as husband and wife! I was so honored to be chosen as their wedding photographer! Here is a little bit more about their day:

Bekah and Ryan chose historic Londontown and Gardens to hold their wedding ceremony and reception. This Annapolis wedding venue is tucked unto Edgewater and they fell in love with the water views and beautiful gardens. On their day, an unexpected cold front came in but the sunshine and throw blankets (snuggling encouraged) that Bekah and Ryan prepared helped bring back a little bit of warmth. The garden environment was also beautifully complemented by the florals from Violet Floral Designs and custom wooden arch crafted by Andrew Green, Rebekah’s brother. Rebekah also wore a special heirloom necklace which her mother had worn on her own wedding day.

Although she forgo the first look with Ryan, Kevin, Bekah’s father, held back tears as they shared a Father-Daughter first look before guests started to arrive. Rebekah is so incredibly beautiful, both inside and out, and was glowing throughout the day! I remember watching for the exact moment when Ryan saw Bekah and caught Ryan’s expression as she walked towards him and I’m sure the word “WOOOOW” was going through his mind! Ryan and Rebekah exchanged their vows, prayed while taking communion together, and were officially married as the light from the setting sun touched the bay behind them.

The couple were surrounded by such fun and love as everyone fully celebrated their wedding day with laughter, joy, dancing, and pie! Bekah is a dancer and made sure her dress was dancing ready so she could break it down during the reception. Everyone especially enjoyed the surprise choreographed dance with her Dad and brothers!
