Bluemont Vineyard Elopement | Amy + Scott | Maryland Elopement Photographer
Updated: Apr 1, 2021
As we near the close of 2020, I’m definitely feeling all the weird loopy got-to-get-my-life-together vibes and as I was putting together this blog post, realized that I have yet to share Amy and Scott’s engagement session amongst the 2020 backlog of sessions-yet-to-be-blogged, so stay tuned for that in the near future! In the meantime, I’m so excited to share their sweet Bluemont Vineyard elopement!
While still planning a large wedding celebration in D.C next year at District Winery on their anniversary, Amy and Scott didn’t want to postpone the start of their beautiful marriage and so exchanged vows on November 11th in front of their immediate family! It was one of those misty, rainy yet semi-warm days where the fall colors shine. I met Amy and Scott last year through Molly and Michael’s wedding (they are all such incredibly thoughtful, caring people) and was thrilled that they chose me as their wedding photographer.
Along with exchanging vows and rings, Amy and Scott also had a wine ceremony where they locked away a bottle of wine with love letters to each other, to later open and read on their first anniversary. The rain cleared right after the ceremony which was the perfect opportunity to take a few photos in front of the beautiful view of the valley. It was so special to be a part of this wonderful day! Check out some faves and I can’t wait to continue celebrating with them next year!
